FAQ's

1

Can you perform outdoors?

Yes! I absolutely love outdoor weddings!

The only requirement is adequate shelter from rain, strong wind and intense sun for both myself and my equipment.

2

Do you need power to perform?

Nope! I am fully battery powered and do not require power for day time acoustic sets (me and my guitar).

I do require power for things like lighting for your evening sets.

3

Can we choose the songs you play?

Absolutely! This is your wedding and I want the music to feel like you.

You're welcome to choose songs from my repertoire to create your whole playlist; Choose a few must haves; let me know your favourite artists or genres, or simply give me the vibe you're after and I'll create the perfect soundtrack.

4

What if we don't know what songs to choose?

Don't stress - most couples don't! My advice is to pick songs that feel like YOU, rather than choosing lovey songs that you think SHOULD be part of a wedding.

I'll guide you through each part of the day and help recommend songs that suit the atmosphere you're creating, whether it's romantic, relaxed, upbeat or one big singalong.

5

Do you travel?

Absolutely. I'm based on the NSW South Coast but love travelling for weddings and events.

Travel within an hour is included, and for weddings further afield I'll simply provide a travel quote before you book so there are no surprises. ($50 per hour of travel, plus a small accommodation allowance if your wedding/event finishes late or in the dark).

6

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as you know you'd love me to be part of your day!
Popular wedding dates (especially spring and autumn Saturdays) can book out 12 - 18 months in advance, so I always recommend getting in touch early.

7

What happens if we need to cancel once we've booked?

If your date has been rearranged and I am free, I am happy to move your deposit and booking to this new date.

If this is not the case then your deposit is non refundable.

If you cancel between 6 months and 30 days before your event - 50% of the remaining fee is still owed.

If you cancel within 30 days of the event - 100% of the remaining fee is still owed.

8

Do you need breaks between sets?

Yes! Live music is a bit like running a marathon for both my voice and my fingers, so short breaks help me stay fresh and perform at my best throughout your day.

The number and length of breaks will depend on how much live music you've booked, and I'll always plan these around your timeline so they fit naturally into the flow of your celebration.

But don't worry, there won't be any awkward silence! Whenever I'm taking a break (and not changing locations), I'll keep a carefully curated playlist playing through my sound system so the atmosphere and energy continue seamlessly.

9

Do we need to feed you?

This is absolutely not expected/necessary but always very gratefully received - especially if you have booked me for a day package and I am there for the majority of the day. I have no dietary requirements and am a real lover of all foods, so anything is always gratefully appreciated.

10

How do I request a song?

I have QR codes with me for you and your guests to scan - or you can click HERE to have a look at all the songs I play and to get in early with your requests.

Have a fantastic day, friends!
